Aware is the leading mental health organisation providing support, education and information to those impacted by anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and related mood conditions.
Aware was originally established over 35 years ago to provide support and understanding to individuals experiencing depression and bipolar disorder, along with their loved ones. The organisation also aimed to inform and educate the public on the nature of mental illness to improve understanding and remove stigma.
While support remains at the core of Aware’s offering today, the organisation has evolved over the years to recognise the importance of early intervention and education to reduce the prevalence of mental illness. Aware now offers a range of positive mental health programmes designed to empower adults and young people with the knowledge, skills and resilience to look after their mental health.
Please help us support the vulnerable people in our society, they may be your brother, your neighbour, your daughter, your best friend
